Former Sun Microsystems’ VP Purchases Local Marketing Agency

Announces Office Expansion and Plans for Local Hiring

Knoxville, Tenn. – Pyxl, Inc. (formerly Image Communications) announced today that Brian Winter, an experienced global sales and marketing executive, has purchased the assets of Pyxl and a majority interest in the marketing firm. Under the agreement, Kesler Butler, former owner of Pyxl, will stay on as Partner and Creative Director.

Over the past 18 years, Winter has turned around global sales and marketing teams for Fortune 500 companies as well as built successful sales and marketing teams for venture?backed start?ups. Most recently, Winter served as Vice President of Global Virtualization Software Sales at Sun Microsystems. He also served as a member of Sun’s Executive Management Group, comprising the 50 most senior leaders worldwide of Sun’s 34,000 employees.

Pyxl also announced that it will be doubling it’s office space and moving to The Village Northshore Town Center in January 2009. The innovative office space is designed to accommodate recent growth as well as embrace a new professional atmosphere focused on the emerging millennial workforce. With designated areas for shared workspaces and team interaction, the new Pyxl headquarters will lead workplace innovation and provide an engaging environment to collaborate with clients.
