Like most groups of designers, our design team enjoys the collaboration of huddling around each other’s computers for project critiques, idea generation and problem solving. Each designer is great at working independently, however it is often necessary to come together as a team to help a fellow designer conquer tough obstacles.
But what if your team is split up, located in two different offices, at opposite ends of the country and in different time zones? This was the challenge Pyxl faced – after doubling our design team from three to six team members in less than a year, the reality of working in separate offices meant finding ways to communicate efficiently and effectively to ensure the design team’s success.

So I sit at my desk getting ready to start on a new project at hand. I don’t have a concept or even have a starting point.
