Last night, Pyxl sponsored the Social Media Club’s Official Launch Party at Oodles in Market Square! The event allowed social media enthusiasts from Knoxville and surrounding areas to network with like-minded professionals, and featured speaker Trey Pennington of Greenville, South Carolina.

Unlike what I consider to be a corporate rebrand, the company is actually rebranding each store individually to make them appear to be “hometown” coffee shops rather than the international corporate giant shops that they now are. With the creation of the new Pyxl site, we decided to be creative and take some pictures for our bio pages – for our out-of-state clients it is always nice to be able to put a face with the voice on the phone or the message on Skype. In an effort to show some behind the scenes action shots, I have included some pictures from my camera phone. In the images below, you will see our master photographer and graphic designer Kervie as he took our pictures and stayed patient as we were attempting to be photogenic. We’re working hard to launch the new Pyxl website, but we’ve also been quite busy working with our clients. So in the meantime, we’ve decided to get moving on our blog.

I’m hoping and planning that this blog will quickly become an outlet where our diverse team can write on strategy, online branding, campaign management, social media, public relations, graphic design and web development – with a little company and client news thrown in as well.

At Pyxl, we’ve come a long way in the past year or so – evolving from a traditional advertising agency to a full-service marketing services specializing in delivering high-quality online marketing services – so the team and I really have a lot of information and insight to share via this blog.
