Decade in Review: 10 Greatest of ‘00-’09

Another decade has come and gone…and quite a lot has happened between the beginning of 2000 and the end of 2009! The “Naughts” as the decade is apparently called (we don’t really like that name though) were full of good things and bad. But of course we can’t write a post on everything that happened! Launching an easy, low-cost PR service

Often, small to medium-sized businesses don’t have the budget or the need for a full-time marketing or public relations firm. Just take a look at the Pizza Kitchen case here locally…

Video games have a heavy opportunity cost

Ok, time to come clean… I am a “gamer”. Unlike many “gamers” though – I am also a workaholic and can hardly stand to watch time being frittered away while I’m on the clock. These two passions (or flaws depending on where your standing) of mine got me thinking one day about the amount of time wasted nowadays on something entirely self-centered and almost valueless… video games.

KnoxChallenger “followed” around the world

We talk a lot about how powerful social media is and how Twitter can be used in some really interesting ways, so I think the Knoxville Challenger tennis event is an interesting case study. To sum up the details — last month’s Knoxville Challenger brought together professional tennis players from across the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia. And while this 6-day USTA event was…

Join us tonight at SMCKnox’s Winter Panel!

As social media continues to evolve, businesses and individuals alike are diving head first into the new media pool — often without precaution!
