Pyxl is headed to St. Thomas, May 15th – 18th. The team will be taking some time to unplug, re-charge and generate some great discussions. We will all be back in the office on Monday, May 20th with fresh, new creative ideas.
This opportunity comes around once a year, for all of our offices to come together as a team. We really enjoy the work we do and in order to stay ahead and keep our clients at the forefront of their industries, sometimes we need to take a step back, brainstorm and look at things from a new angle.

There are many ways to lead an organization and as a leader you may have a certain style, but with more than one way to lead efficiently, it comes down to the qualities you possess. It’s easy to become overwhelmed with tasks at hand, project deadlines, endless meetings and financials to review. As a leader you must have a vision and sound decision-making skills. If you think about it, you see these skills are also equally important in making your marketing organization a market leader as well.

Last Friday, Pyxl’s Tempe office had a great time hosting an agency tour for six students from the Arizona State University chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) in an effort to assist in career development. Through networking events, community involvement and leadership opportunities, ASU AMA provides students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience from influential industry experts to further their professional growth.
At first I thought it was a joke, or a singular case, but then the topic kept reoccurring: the idea of it being ok and sometimes encouraged to have your mom hold your hand when you get your first job. Let me take a pause—WHAT!? Why are companies beginning to adhere to this idea?
