Responsive Web Design: Seize the Convenience & Capture the Opportunity
With a significant increase in both tablet and smartphone sales compared to desktop purchases, and the projected rise of mobile web use over the traditional desktop by 2014, mobile browsing is expected to surpass desktop-based Internet access within the next three to five years. Internet users are visiting your site from a variety of browsers and devices. Since you can’t predict who your next visitor will be or which device they’ll be using, companies should consider a responsive website — offering consumers versatility to conduct research and make purchases while on the go.
Reach your target audience effectively on the devices they use by developing one site that is compatible for all devices, which will help to deliver a positive digital experience, rather than creating device-specific sites.
