Pyxl and Knoxville Challenger Team up for the Third Year
What a fantastic opportunity to once again contribute to the success of the #1 tennis event in the Southeast! The USTA Knoxville Challenger tournament committee approached Pyxl more than three years ago, at a time in which they struggled to organize and promote the large-scale tennis event. This 7-day tournament brings professional tennis players to Knoxville to vie for a $50,000 prize, with proceeds benefiting a regional not-for-profit organization. With the USTA on the verge of pulling the event from the Challenger Series, a new tournament committee was formed, and Pyxl was brought on board to provide marketing strategy and support. Before one of my recent interns finished up her internship here at Pyxl, she asked me out to lunch so she could pick my brain on different things she should know in order to put her ahead of the game when it comes to looking for jobs in this ever-competitive job market. As we all have heard by now, the company sent out an email this past summer stating the new terms of its DVD rental service.
